Adaptive strength training

Strength that
adapts to
real life.

Work. Kids. Travel. Bad sleep. Life rarely follows a perfect training plan. Rivet adapts your workouts so progress continues even when consistency doesn't.

The 12-week journey

A structured path, not a random workout each day.

Every program runs through three phases. When life interrupts, the Rivet Engine remembers where you left off and adjusts within the plan instead of starting over.

Weeks 1–2

Reintroduction

Movement quality first. Light loads while joints and tendons ease into the pattern.

Weeks 3–5

Foundation

Working weights get established from what you actually log, not a spreadsheet's ambition.

Weeks 6 & 10

Recovery weeks

Same movements, lighter loads — deliberate resets built into the plan before you need them.

Weeks 7–9

Progression

Weight is added only when the reps are earned. Evidence first, ambition second.

Weeks 11–12

Consolidation

Confirm the new baseline, then carry those working loads into the next cycle.

Volume, adherence, PRs and estimated 1RM are computed on device — no cloud, no leaderboard, no one else's numbers to measure yourself against.

The Rivet Engine

It adjusts around interruptions instead of pretending they never happened.

Life happens. Rivet adapts. Progress continues. Missed workouts, holidays, stressful weeks, poor sleep, busy seasons — each one changes what you should lift next, and the Rivet Engine accounts for all of it.

Training that absorbs interruptions

The Rivet Engine reads your actual history — a missed week, a busy stretch, disrupted sleep — and adjusts loads and volume to where you are now. Progress continues even when consistency doesn't.

Protect your weak spots

Flag a knee, shoulder or lower back and every movement that stresses it starts lighter with a set removed. Protection is part of the plan, not an afterthought.

Fits the gym you actually use

Full gym, a barbell in the garage, dumbbells only or nothing but bodyweight — 2 to 4 sessions a week. Take a ready-made program or edit the sets, reps and movements into your own.

Progress only when you've earned it

Log the reps that actually happened. Weights move up on evidence, and finishing a cycle carries your working loads forward instead of resetting them.

Built for the gym floor

One screen per session with large targets, warm-ups and rest handled — plus a plate calculator, estimated 1RM and warm-up ladder when you need the maths.

Private by design

No accounts. No cloud dependency. No ads. No tracking. Your training stays on your device — basement gym, airplane mode, still works.

Progress that doesn't disappear

Your best lifts stay on record.

Lifetime bests, this program's bests, and where your current strength sits against your baseline — measured against your own history, nobody else's.

  • Time away lowers today's session, never your record
  • Log the reps that actually happened; weight moves up on evidence
  • Plate calculator, estimated 1RM and a warm-up ladder built in
  • Export everything as JSON whenever you want

Exercise library

Every movement shows the work.

A demonstration clip, plain technique bullets, the mistakes people actually make, and substitutes for the equipment in front of you — searchable, and cached on device.

Our philosophy

We don't believe a missed week should cost you your progress.

We don't believe progress comes from perfect weeks.

We believe the best training program adapts when life gets in the way.

That's why we built Rivet.
